Yesterday was an awesome day! Phillip had to work in the morning, so Marissa and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and she was just SO good. We visited my Grandma and went to Walmart and we then came home and colored Easter eggs (what a messy tradition, but the best way of getting the dye off of your hands is Lava soap--comes right off! Read that on the internet!). Later in the day after Phillip got home, we went to the park in Hope with our friends, Glen and TeAnn, and their daughter Jenna. The girls had fun and we enjoyed the sunshine--even walked over to this little ice cream place and had an ice cream cone (well, THEY did...had to use willpower--grand total weight loss to date is 53.8 lbs and I'm not messing that up!)
It was a beautiful day and it seems that warm weather is finally on it's way here to Indiana next week! Hoping for a beautiful Easter morning and day to celebrate what Jesus did for all of us! Blessings, Kristi
