Hump day

Wow, it's already Wednesday!! The temperatures in Indiana have finally gone down a little bit and making it more bearable to be outside! This is good news for Marissa, who loves being outside. My parents took her to the public pool this week and she was afraid of the water! Well, we aren't sure if that was really it or that she really just wanted to go down the big slide and Grandma and Grandpa didn't want to attempt that! She showed no interest in the pool and kept wanting to leave! ha! This is so bizarre because our girl LOVES water...playing in it...watering flowers...doing dishes (for now at least!)...etc. She also really loved the indoor water park we took her to a few months ago. We aren't sure what is up with her! I guess kids are just not predictable at all, are they?

Our room addition is getting painted today and tomorrow, so it's really coming together! I think it will be completely finished in about 2-3 weeks. We are anxious for this, as our house is very very small and it's amazing how one extra person in it makes it seem even smaller! It's funny how back in the 60's when our home was built, it was more than adequate for a family our size! A 1,200 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was perfect, but now this is considered "small". However, I really do think that people, in general, have more "stuff" now that clutters our homes...not to mention all the toys of a 2 year old!
